Windows Size and Position

The size and position of most windows is recorded into the database, so that each user can define his/her very own working environment, with each window opening at a special place, with a defined size.

This is how it was designed, for each kind of window :
  • The Main window will always open restoring its last position and size. It will also restore the size of the various buttons areas, if you had customized it. The scope edition dialog and the association edition dialog have both a fixed size : they cannot be resized. But their position on the screen is recorded. So they will always reopen at their last location.
  • The search windows is a very special one : you can open multiple instances of it simultaneously. So Goozzee records the position of the first ten instances you will open. What's more, if you quit Goozzee while some search windows are open, these windows will reopen automatically the next time you launch Goozzee.
  • The shortcuts window's size and position are recorded, so that it will always open at the same place, with the same size. And, as for the search window, if you quit Goozzee with you shortcuts visible, they will be visible the next time you launch Goozzee.
If you ever change the resolution of you screen, or if you work from a computer with a different screen resolution, Goozzee will do its best to make sure that the windows appear (at least partially) within the limits of the screen, so that you can reach them and move them to a better location, according to the new resolution.
